Maxbaffle is the title of product family I designed for maxakustik gmbh. It is a series of three-dimensional wall installations. Using the slicing technique, I depicted simple shapes and figures in oversized dimensions, giving every wall an acoustic absorber that is something to behold. All baffles are cut out individually and assembled using a specially developed plug-in system. The layered construction results in efficient absorption of disturbing background noise, making any room sound nicer and more pleasant. A choice of 24 colours makes it possible to adapt each piece to individual colour tastes. This project laid the foundation for my relief sculptures and animations, which I continue to work on today
